About the Society

  • Society for Clinical and Experimental hypnosis was founded in 1974 by Hrishikesh Jana at Ahmedabad.

About Medical Hypnosis Society

  • Was founded in 1987 at Baroda by Dr. Rajni Vyas & Dr. Bhaskar Vyas with the objectives of professional promotion and clinical research in the area of Hypnotherapy. Dr. S K Udar was the President & Dr. Ratubhai Parikh was the Honorary Secretary.

Amalgamation

  • Medical Hypnosis Society was renamed as Indian Society of Clinical Hypnosis after the commencement of the course in Hypnotherapy at M.S. University (Vadodara) in 2000 with Dr. Rajni Vyas as the President .

  • Meeting of the Society is held every month on first Sunday.

  • Minutes of the meeting and academic discussion will be sent via email to members.

  • Workshops on Hypnosis / Hynotherapy organized at the instance of Sponsor.

Details of Membership

Life Membership : Only life members allowed. Life Membership fees: Rs.2500/- only.

Membership open to only qualified medical doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and clinical psychologists.

Eligibility : 400 hours of training in Hypnosis or Diploma in Clinical Applied Hypnosis (DCAH) from M. S. University, Vadodara.

Associate Life Membership: Anybody having interest in hypnosis can become associate life member by paying Rs.2500/-.

Associate life members  have no right to vote. They cannot be office bearers of the society.

   

  About Diploma in Clinical Applied Hypnosis Course (DCAH)

  • The course is conducted by the Psychology Department of M. S. University, Vadodara-390002. Contact Dr. Renu Sharma, Cell# 09924122952.

  • Eligibility: Medical doctors, Dentists, Physiotherapists and  Post graduate Clinical Psychologists.

  • It is self finance part time course of 400 hrs duration spread over 1 year ( 5 days a week Mon-Fri)
